Origami

Let's make an origami heart together! You can write a sweet message inside and give it to someone you love, be it a friend, family member, partner, neighbour, or even a stranger! Have fun!

Step 1

Follow the instructions

If you want, write a message on the blank side of the origami paper for the person you're giving the heart to. Fold your origami paper in half one way, unfold it, and then fold it in half again the other way, so that the creases are perpendicular. Then, fold the top corner down to the point where the creases meet.

Step 2

Continue following the instructions

Fold the bottom corner up to the top so that the point meets the edge. Then, fold up the left hand corner diagonally so that the bottom edge meets the middle crease, and do the same for the right hand corner.

Step 3

Shocker - Keep following the instructions!

Fold in the small left and right hand corners so that they are no longer visible, then repeat this for the top corners. Congratulations, you now have an origami heart! Great job!

Step 4

Spread the love!

Once you're happy with your creation, give it to someone you love, even if it's a stranger! They'll be delighted, and I'm sure they'll be even more so once they discover the secret message inside! Have fun, and show the world some much needed love.
