Step 1
Choosing a base colour
Once you've decided on a design, choose a base colour for your rock. If you're using a more complex design, such as a sunset, or other gradient based options, you should probably start with a white or very light background colour. Let it dry before continuing onto the next step.
Step 2
Sketching your design
Before you paint your design, you should sketch it out in pencil first. Once your base coat is dry, lightly sketch your design onto the rock with a pencil. Don't worry, the pencil won't show up in the finished version. Remember to leave enough space to write a message!

Step 3
Painting!
When you're happy with your sketch, grab those Posca pens and colour it in! Remember, it doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be fun!
Step 4
Finishing touches
Time for the finishing touches! If there's enough space on the front, you can write a kind message. If not, write it on the back, along with our social tags, such as:

Facebook: Our Kindness Campaign
And so on.
Once your rock is dry, all you need to do is apply a coat of varnish, and hide it somewhere! Make sure someone can find it though!
